Walz Marine forms an integral part of the Walz Group, providing wharf construction and maintenance services to major port operators.

While the resources boom has seen a massive increase in the industrial services sector, Walz Marine was established in early 2006 to fill a gap in the market and provide much-needed support for resource shipping logistics. With Company Directors who encourage out of the box ideas and are prepared to invest in initiatives, the Walz Marine team has successfully designed, constructed and patented a docking system that provides safe access onto the barge in adverse sea conditions. The system is a reusable modular work platform that can be built and dismantled easily. At the mercy of the wind and waves, any work undertaken by Walz Marine is done with stringent safety procedures in place and with a fully briefed and experienced crew. In an ocean-based environment, particular attention must be paid to engineering out the safety hazards, prior to starting jobs. Good planning, good people and good procedures enable Walz Marine to deliver safe and successful jobs for clients.
